Day-wise itinerary
- Day 1
Day 1: Sarnath
Pickup in Varanasi. Dhamek Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar and the Sarnath Museum, where Buddha gave his first sermon.
- Day 2
Day 2: Varanasi → Bodh Gaya
Drive to Bodh Gaya (about 250 km). Evening at the Mahabodhi Temple.
- Day 3
Day 3: Rajgir & Nalanda
Vulture's Peak (Griddhakuta) in Rajgir and the ruins of the ancient Nalanda University.
- Day 4
Day 4: Vaishali
Drive to Vaishali: the Ashokan Pillar and the Relic Stupa.
- Day 5
Day 5: Kushinagar
Mahaparinirvana Temple and Ramabhar Stupa, where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana.
- Day 6
Day 6: Kushinagar → Varanasi
Return drive to Varanasi and drop.
