Day-wise itinerary
- Day 1
Day 1: Varanasi → Lumbini
Drive via Gorakhpur and the Sonauli border to Lumbini. Visit the Maya Devi Temple.
- Day 2
Day 2: Lumbini → Pokhara
Scenic drive to Pokhara. Evening by Phewa Lake.
- Day 3
Day 3: Pokhara sightseeing
Sunrise at Sarangkot, the World Peace Pagoda, Davis Falls and boating on Phewa Lake.
- Day 4
Day 4: Pokhara → Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu along the Trishuli river.
- Day 5
Day 5: Kathmandu
Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath and Durbar Square.
- Day 6
Day 6: Kathmandu → border → Varanasi
Start the return journey towards the Indian border and Varanasi (may need a halt depending on timing).
